Fingal County Council are looking for short stories and poems from seniors (55+) living in Fingal who are cocooning during COVID-19. The theme is a special memory or event that is connected to cocooning during COVID-19. A short story 500 to 1500 words / or a poem – that evokes a memory of a moment in time or an event that was special to you and connects in some way to what is happening in Ireland today, or your experiences during the COVID-19 lock down. It can be fiction or can tell your story.

All entries will be recorded in a special Fingal Memory Makers book. 1st prize in each category will receive €150 gift voucher and 2nd prize €100 gift voucher. All winners will receive a plaque.
